1000 Views!!

So I'm currently at 1,010 views so big thanks to everyone who is interested in my work!

I had my Phase 02 review today, where I presented the general ideas of my design.  It's basically a cafe with gardens on the interior, called "Cafeterrium."  The gardens are the sizes of the historical green space on the site, and each garden has a different use, ranging from a community driven one, to a display case for competitions within the context of the building.  The formal logic is a folding technique taken from my precedent study, with some more formal code regulations and parking added on later.  Unfortunately I don't have photos with me at the time, but I'll add some later.

As far as the review goes, there seemed to be a consensus that we were working too much within the context of our site and not including Charlottesville in our designs.  For me personally, the noted that my structural design seemed to be an afterthought and that the core of my project lies with the gardens.  Unfortunately, I'm not a landscape architect so I don't want my primary focus to be on the gardens.  I hope to move my design away from this to a degree, allowing me more structural freedom in my design.

To unwind, I sprayed another stencil, so here is one to enjoy.  The olive green did not come out great on this one, and I probably should've sanded the piece of wood I used.

Thanks for reading.
